![]() ![]() I would be picking this up for $33 along with the following DLC which I've watched a few videos about and I think these look like a good starting point without getting overloaded on a first playthrough. (already have Sons of Abraham since it was free) if any of you have other suggestions to pickup or drop one let me know but I dont want to spend much more than this on an untried game. Is this an acceptable hypothesis or is this game a case of "the more crap going on the more fun it is"?) (Reapers Due - I decided to skip for now because I feel like I'll have enough to deal with for my first couple games without having to deal with the plague. I'm going to go play the Free Version + SoA now, but I was hoping a current veteran of the game (who also knows what's been announced for CK3) could give their opinion.ġ) Would the Free Version + SoA be enough for maybe ~100 hours of entertaining gameplay until CK3? (I have plenty of other games to play until then so it isnt like I need something to last me 1000's of hours)Ģ) Assuming CK3 releases at $60 but includes much of CK2 + DLCs content and will be supported for years to come, is just waiting for CK3 the better choice?Ģ) Thats pretty much speculation up to now, from what I've seen in the dev-diaries they do some stuff different (heavier on an RPG-aspect with "skill"-trees for the lifestyle choices you unlock during the lifetime of a character and a kind of "skill"-trees for your dynasty you can unlock during the whole game. More emphasize on the dynasty and the role of the dynasty and house-head witch actual options to influence members of your dynasty or branch-house etc.etc.). I doubt we'll see stuff like societies etc. in the base version of CK3, after all pdx strategy IS adding to an existing title through DLC+Patch to prolong the life-cycle of the game and make money from the DLCs. ![]() (Just speculation on my part, mind you, but I think not an unreasonable one).Īnd much as I like most PDX-titles I have to say its unlikely I'll buy CK3 right at realease. ![]()
